Deepika Birdi
Deepika Birdi has dedicated her career to working with children, youth, and families struggling with Mental Health Challenges. She recognizes that each person is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Deepika employs evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the needs and goals of each client. Deepika believes in the transformative power of therapy to guide individuals on their journey toward healing, self-discovery, and personal growth. As a dedicated psychotherapist, Deepika is passionate about providing compassionate and effective mental health support.
Deepika views well-being holistically, addressing not only emotional issues but also considering physical, social, and spiritual aspects. One of her core beliefs is clients are the experts in their own lives and Deepika adopts a client-centered approach that honors individual strengths, resources, and the unique perspective each person brings to therapy.
In India, Deepika worked at Learning Wings Education Systems for 10 years and created the city’s first Inclusive Education School, this model was later adopted by 15 schools all over the region. She has attended the best universities in India and the UK and has researched topics such as Inclusive education, Neurodiversity, Autism, Diversity, Family systems, and Attachment to name a few. She is currently pursuing a graduate certification as an Art Therapist to widen her practice in Toronto, Canada.
